30 Days – 30 Pictures

I was slightly distracted by the tennis match last night but still managed to finish another abstract.  A smaller one this time it is 20cm x 20cm (Lime Spalsh was 30cm x 30cm).

This image is smaller but much more detailed with a woven beaded ‘wave’.  The beads are on a crocheted wire mesh and this is one of my favourite techniques so you will see more of it.  I have combined this with a range of subtle colours which I think work quite well together.

I don’t have a name for this one so I would love if someone came up with one for me, if not I will think of one later.

I also said I would tell you about the other artists I am exhibiting with at Pittenweem.  The first is Sheila Lawson who is a very talented artist who lives near St Andrews in Fife.

As a seascape artist, Sheila works mainly in textured acrylics, oils, mixed media and collage on canvas and board. Other works include lochs, mountains, coastal villages, landscapes and abstract images. Original artwork, giclée prints. small prints and other items produced from Sheila’s images are available.”

This is my favourite print and I love the feel of this picture.  It says a lot about Scotland to me and the lovely wild feel that it has.
