I am sorry for my absence from my blog but life and especially my art life just got incredible busy.  It is very exciting and it started at the County Show then snowballed at the opening of my exhibition at the Garlic Farm.

My very first opening at my very first solo exhibition – you could not take the smile off my face.

Here is a taster:

The preview evening was amazing too and it was so nice to be able to share it with friends and family and past and present patrons.

Some discussion going on here with my lovely step daughter who was on hand with refreshments.

My lovely husband (on the right) looking smart and calm after a mad cross country drive to get home avoiding the chaos after the bus was hijacked on the motorway.

Me chatting and just having fun.

The best part of the day for me was having my parents with me – all the way from Scotland.

Thank you to everyone who joined us that evening or who has visited since and let me know how much they enjoyed it.  A special thank you to my lovely friend Michelle who helped me set up, kept me calm and took the photos on the night for me.

The exhibition runs until 25th August and is in the restaurant at the Garlic Farm so you can have a nice lunch or coffee while you are there.  Be quick though as my work is selling fast 😀

I am now frantically getting ready for Open Studios which is this weekend.

Come along from Friday till Monday 10am – 5pm, see me work, have coffee and cake in the garden…weather permitting 🙂
