This weekend is another chance to see my artwork close up at
The Isle of Wight Garlic Festival.
The festival mixes food, music, live entertainment, arts and good family fun. It is my husband’s favourite event of the year and it means I can’t go near him for 2 or 3 days till the garlic smell wears off. I have an allergy/sensitivity to garlic which means he is classified a danger zone for me!
It also means a very busy week again as, once again, I have not met the deadlines I set for myself. I wanted to have 12 of the Colours of Life Images and I have 4 including this one…..not enought to make the calendar I planned.
I also wanted to do at least 2 new human portraits but only finished one.
And I wanted to finish this portrait that I started the weekend of the Open Studios
but this is as far as I got.
On the plus side I have been working hard on the portrait you saw yesterday and when it is light enough to photograph I will share some more of that with you.
Anyway, lots to do……will I see you this weekend??
