After my marathon drawing weekend I was desperate to get a paint brush back in my hand but too exhausted to take on a big project so I decided to tackle a subject I love but have not done in some time.

I love painting and drawing flowers of all descriptions so went back to what I know best.  This is a simple watercolour of a rose, not a lot more that can be said about it but I do hope you enjoy it.

I am going to do a series of 3 flowers I think as I like odd numbers and need a couple of days of less complicated projects to recover.

My Twitter Friend for today is not an artist at all but has been one of the most helpful people I have ‘met’ on there.  She is The Efficiency Coach otherwise known as Heather Townsend.  Heather always knows the right thing to say and her blog articles are clear, easy to understand and full of incredibly useful information.

Heather helps people to be more efficient and more effective in their small businesses (and larger ones).  Whatever business you are running you need to be able to play a huge number of different roles and that is not an easy task.  The learning curve is huge and finding the right information or the right person to ask is the hardest part of that.  This is where Heather has helped me so much, she writes/speaks in a language that we can all understand and is one of the most positive and encouraging people that I have ever come across.

I take it that you all understand how much I value Heather 🙂

Anyway, see for yourself what she does best on her blog….don’t think about it, do it.

Thank you Heather
