Last week we were on holiday in Scotland in a beautiful Bothy in Drumnadrochit. Just outside the door was a lovely picnic bench beside two very busy bird feeders.
This is one of my favourite visitors, there were around 6 little blue tits who didn’t mind company at all. They even seemed happy to pose for photos.
This is a small sketch of the blue tit completed in watercolour pencils on cartridge paper. I took the liberty of placing him on top of the wall which was a bit more interesting to draw.
My absolute favourite was the woodpecker but he was too camera shy to let me take photographs……this cheeky little thing was more than happy to stand in though. 🙂
