Today is the day that we all have to be thankfull that our children (and grandchildren) are happy and healthy and to think of those children who are less fortunate.

I would like to make some kind of small contribution so I am auctioning an animal portrait…it can be a pet or a sponsored animal or you could give it to someone for Christmas.  I am going to keep this one open until Sunday noon (Scottish Time) so that we can raise some money to help.

Here are details of my animal portraits:

Your pet is a member of your family and deserves the very best treatment.  A personal portrait needs to be done by someone who loves and understands that animals have very individual personalities – just like you!

Capturing the spirit and emotion of the subject in a drawing is what my drawings all about. I look into the eyes trying to figure the inner soul. For me the eyes tell it all. This is what makes my art and portraits special. I capture the essence and character of the subject by finding it in their eyes.

Getting the character from an animal or person across to you through a painting or a drawing is my aim with every picture I create.  As you look at my images, I challenge you to see the individual character. Whatever the species…… every individual is unique.

I work from photographs so you only have to choose your favourite photo which captures the personality of your pet to have it transformed into an artwork to treasure.  I use the best quality watercolour pencils which are sealed to ensure your artwork can be treasured for generations to come.

If you don’t have a pet then I could be persuaded to part with the original of Oscar for the highest bid.  🙂
