Last night I was not in the mood for anything serious. Mischief had crept in and I felt it was time for a ‘doodle’. I have not allowed myself this luxury for a while and it is a holiday weekend so I decided to have some fun.
This was the result.
I always seem to create characters with red hair as I feel we are a little neglected. With this in mind, I decided to take this a little further and added some text and played with that too.
Finally, I turned the image into a t-shirt and tote bag which I will wear/carry when my wild side takes over. I have ordered them and may even post a photo of me wearing them when they arrive 🙂
My friends will tell you that this is me! I think it is this week, though I don’t think there is anything wrong with having a wild side.
I think I may do a few more of these in the near future, they are fun to do!!
If anyone is interested I used 2 freeware programs to put this together GIMPshop and Inkscape and I can highly recommend both of them I have used their expensive counterparts in previous jobs and would still recommend the simplicity of these 2 programs for mere mortals. I have also read some blogs from other artists who say the same thing…..and they are FREE so how can you complain.
